It’s just a shortie today for two reasons. Tuesday’s post about writing letters to the supermarkets has opened a floodgate and I have a mini-deluge to reply to, which is fantastic!
Oh just how much would I love this to hit the nationals? I’d need a full-time PA!
Also, I’ve been on the radio most of the day and I’m all talked out.
I broadcast a 3-hour show every Wednesday called ‘Slow Down and Green Up’ and there’s absolutely no prizes for guessing what that’s all about… After that, I did a few pre-recorded interviews and drank far too much coffee.
The media interest is definitely hotting up for my rubbishy little read and I’m not even out of the starting blocks. You wait until I really get going; my literary fantasy of a chinwag with the mighty Paxman on those uncomfortable leather chairs might still come true.
This coming Saturday, however, will be my very first meet the author and book signing (a little cheeky really, as it’s still pre-publication, but hey, I’m hardly J K Rowling) and as you might have guessed I am champing at the bit to reach for my pen.
As my diary is starting to fill out a bit, I thought it might be nice to list the details of where I am talking about a load of old rubbish, so if you are in the area perhaps you might like to come along – here goes.

(FROM THOMAS – Hi everybody, if you are in Bristol this weekend and come to see Tracey at the Organic Food Festival, then make sure you drop by stand 41 in the Green Planet section to visit us at Alastair Sawday Publishing)
Addendum: Well, I’m back from the signing in Bristol and I had the most amazing afternoon! Apart from the fact that the rain was intermitently coming down in bucketloads, it didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s spirits; the Organic Food Fair was fantastic! Lots of great food of course, really interesting stalls and I did my first ever book signing and loved every minute of it…thanks to everyone who stood around with me talking a load of ole rubbish!

Fab news Tracey – I’m so proud of you. Have a wonderful time meeting your public!
Much love and respect,
Mrs G x
Oh, how I wish I could be there to witness your signings…good luck, have fun and enjoy your fans…they’ll be coming in droves. Lots of love K x
Ladies – calm yerselves – lolol!
I’ve bought myself a little pre-loved number from Help The Aged in Chard and I’m ready to roll.
Bring it on…
TSx
Good Luck Tracey, hope you have a great time. Wish I could be there too. Hope you are feeling better now. D x
