Tuesday 27th April: Tracey will be speaking at The Somerset Community Food Conference, being held at The Genesis Project, Taunton.

Saturday 24th to Friday 30th April: This is InterNational Downshifting Week, Tracey Smith’s initiative now in its 6th year.  She’ll be appearing at all sorts of events and on the national radio and television news talking about the movement that’s shaking the nation….gently…!  Come back here for further details.

Wednesday 21st April: Tracey will address the Ilminster Book Club at the Arts Centre, between 2pm-3pm.  All welcome, book signing to follow.

Monday 19th April: She’s been invited back to the David Hall in South Petherton to deliver a hot discussion on simple, green living.  Book your ticket now!

Saturday 3rd April: Tracey is on the bill of the Sustainable Skills event in Glastonbury in the Assembly Rooms.  Catch her inspirational workshop and talk from midday.

Saturday 27th March: Tracey will be headlining this amazing Celebration Day for Somerset Skills and Learning, to be held at Richard Huish College in Taunton.  See her play ‘Ainsley’ in a Ready, Steady Cook event and compere the Rags to Riches Fashion Event AND deliver a great talk and workshop on rubbish and sustainable living.  A day for the whole family not to be missed!

Monday 22nd March: Tracey will be delivering a talk on journalism and media to students at the Bristol Brunel Academy. This is a closed event.

Thursday 18th March: Once again, Tracey teaches beginners bread making at the wonderful organic farm, The Magdalen Project, near Winsham in Somerset. Book yourself a place today!

Monday 15th March: Tracey will help host the Green Community Lunch event in Thorncombe, West Dorset.  This is a by invitation only event…sorry!

Saturday 13th March: Following her radio show tonight between 6pm-8pm, Tracey will be hot-footing it over to the Posh Swap Swishing event in Taunton at 8.30pm, at The Exchange House Business Centre in The Crescent.  Don’t miss this brilliant evening!

Thursday 11th March: Join Tracey as she teaches simple sausage and pate making at The Magdalen Project, near Winsham in Somerset.  It’s a meaty riot..

Saturday 6th March: Tracey will be helping the Thorncombe Transition Village group in Dorset on their Seedy Swap, at the village hall between 10am-12pm, giving a demonstration of her upside down tomato plants…

Thursday 4th March: Tracey will be delivering the keynote speech at the AGM of the South West Dorset LETS group in Bridport, at the WI Hall from 6.30pm.

Wednesday 3rd March: She’d love to say, she was ‘almost’ on Newsnight…ah well, another day…

Thursday 25th February: Join Tracey in the Gerard Bar for lunch at the RSA in London for lighthearted rubbish talk and pots of tea.

Wednesday 24th February: Smithy will be lurking about in the basement bar of The Flemings Mayfair Hotel in London, discussing rubbish, life the universe and other dirty matters.

Saturday 20th February: She’s up early today and appearing at the Glastonbury office of Somerset Skills and Learning, giving her thought-provoking talk and workshop on rubbish and other sustainable living matters.  Between 1pm-3pm.  Don’t miss it!

Friday 19th February: Wrapping up a busy week, Tracey will be the star guest at the David Hall in South Petherton, for ‘In Conversation With’, as she’s interviewed about her life and work promoting sustainable living.

Thursday 18th February: Join Tracey on her relaxed and hands on bread course, aptly entitled, Bread Making for the Terrified, at The Magdalen Project, Somerset.

Wednesday 17th February: Talk number three coming up tonight at the Ilminster office of SS&L (see below) for more details.  7pm-9pm once again.

Tuesday 16th February: Come along to the Williton office of Somerset Skills and Learning for the second of her fabulous rubbish talks.  7pm-9pm.

Monday 15th February: Tracey will give the first of five free workshops for Somerset Skills and Learning.  Her interactive, upbeat and encouraging talk will get ‘you’ animated about living more sustainably and will give you a completely different perspective on ‘rubbish’…  Tonight see her at the SS&L building in Burnham on Sea, between 7pm-9pm.

Sunday 14th February: Get up early to catch Tracey on BBC Radio 5 Live as she discusses the delicate and controversial subject of being a child of an alcoholic and what’s being done by www.NACOA.org.uk to help the millions of them living with one or two alcohol dependent parents in the UK.

Saturday 13th February: Tracey’s special guests on her radio show tonight will be Andy Norris from Somerset Skills and Learning.  Find out about the free workshops and talks she’s giving in the coming months in and around Somerset.

Thursday 11th February: Tracey will be picking up the baton for her regular slot punditing the day’s news on the Emma Britton Morning Show on BBC Somerset between 9am-10am – don’t miss it!

Wednesday 3rd February: Tracey will be in her home village working with a crew from The Engine Room, shooting a video on her hot tips for sustainable living for Somerset Skills and Learning.  Transmission date TBA.

Tuesday 2nd February: Tracey will be sipping coffee (again) in the corner of Thorncombe’s community shop in West Dorset, as Michael Portillo and a film crew pop their heads in to shoot a documentary on the rise of these powerful businesses. Transmission date, late February.

Wednesday 27th January: Tracey Smith will be sipping coffee and nattering in the Gerard Bar at the RSA in London.  Feel free to join her for a rubbish debate.
