My Daughters and I live in different council areas so we swap our recycling ie my daughters coouncil do not recycle plastic so she gives it to me because my council does. Until recently I took all my used batteries to France when we went on holiday because I could recycle them there but not at home. My older daughter takes all the palets from her local greengrocer and woodyard for burning on her log burner, so we do not need to go to the local recycling centre which is 7 miles away. This is not refected in your poll.

I get my work colleagues to pass me their old cards in January for 'recycling' and I snip off all the pretty pictures that I like and put the rest in the Woodland Trust box in the supermarket.
Particularly good for me as I don't like to use the 'c word' that is popular in December, so I can put in my own seasonal greeting.
Love the trend for tiny cards that seem to be popular this year - just stick to a blank card and voila!

Hi Tracey

I have just been having a look around your site and think that you have some great ideas on how to make the most of things in your home with a view to becoming more sustainable.

Apologies for posting on here but I couldn't find your email address - I work for Yorkshire Water and we are about to launch a new campaign that is prompting people to recycle fat, oil and grease rather than putting it down the sink and causing blockages.

I just wondered if you might be interested in finding out more about this????

My email details are above.

Also we love your book and we are going to purchase some to give away on our website as it fits so nicely with our campaign.

Thanks
